Best of all, once the game is over head over to the beach and end the evening with your toes in the sand. For food, their giant German soft pretzels with beer cheese sauce are an absolute must. If you’re extra hungry, get your hands on one of their Howlin’ Dave’s red hot chicken sandwiches.

Situated right on Melrose Avenue, The Parlor is definitely one of the most popular and well-known sports bars in the Hollywood area. Also, while it might not seem totally standard to order dessert at a sports bar, Sonny McLean’s chocolate brownie with vanilla bean gelato is well worth the risk.

While they do have other locations throughout Los Angeles, you’ll want to make sure you visit the original Barney’s Beanery in West Hollywood. This iconic spot truly makes for a good time, whether you’re hoping to post up at the bar and watch the big game or snag a pool table and play some billiards while you check in on the score every once in a while.

Having been around since 1920, Barney’s Beanery has mastered being a great sports bar and that is why it has created such a loyal and beloved fan base. When it comes to cocktails, Trophy Wife Bar has pretty much every margarita flavor imaginable, though we recommend ordering the Francesca cocktail with mezcal, Aperol, yellow chartreuse, and lime. 

9. Busby’s West

Said to be the biggest sports bar in West LA, Busby’s West has become an iconic hotspot for UCLA students and Westwood residents. With games galore and televisions pretty much everywhere you look, there is lots of ground that is available to explore and cover at Busby’s. Unlike most sports bars, Busby’s also places a huge emphasis on using the best possible ingredients in their food, and they even have some great vegan and vegetarian options available.

If you can, catch their happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm and enjoy $5 well drinks and $2 off all draft beers. For food, you can’t go wrong with the smash burger or pork belly mac-n-cheese.
